Our Mission

At Psych Pro Centers, we are dedicated to providing compassionate counseling services to individuals and families struggling with mental health issues. Our goal is to empower our clients to achieve their personal and professional goals, and to improve their overall quality of life.

Dr. Jose Goyos, Ph.D., LCSW

Founder & Clinical Psychologist | Specialist in Clinical and Sports Psychology


Dr. Jose Goyos brings more than 40 years of experience in the field of mental health, with extensive expertise in clinical psychology, sports psychology, and crisis intervention. He began his academic journey at New York University (NYU) and later earned his doctoral degree in psychology from Barry University in Miami, Florida.


Since 1985, Dr. Goyos has provided psychological services to Major League Baseball, supporting professional athletes both on and off the field. His background includes work in crisis stabilization units, trauma care at Jackson Memorial Hospital, and counseling for battered women and law enforcement professionals facing acute psychological stress.


Dr. Goyos specializes in the treatment of:


Mood disorders


Substance use disorders


Neuroscience-informed behavioral care


Performance psychology for elite athletes


A dedicated member of the West Palm Beach community, Dr. Goyos is known for his reliability, compassion, and unwavering commitment to those in need. He has lived in South Florida since 1985, where he and his wife of over 40 years raised four children. A strong advocate of family values, Dr. Goyos also enjoys spending time with his two beloved dogs.


Fatima Chavez, LCSW, EMDR

Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Trauma-Informed Therapist


Fatima brings over a decade of experience in public service, with a diverse professional background that includes work as a teacher, domestic violence advocate, and therapist in both community mental health and private practice settings.


A fluent Spanish-speaking bilingual clinician, Fatima offers culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care. Her therapeutic approach thoughtfully integrates multiple evidence-based modalities, including:


  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
     
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
     
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
     
  • Client-Centered Approaches
     
  • Expressive Arts Therapy
     

Fatima is deeply committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and growth-oriented environment where individuals feel empowered to heal, evolve, and become the best version of themselves.


She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work with honors from Barry University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University. Fatima is also formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).


Originally from Queens, New York, Fatima’s upbringing in a richly diverse community helped shape her understanding of the importance of identity, connection, and collective healing. Her work is guided by compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for every person’s journey.

Scott Kramer, MS, LMHC, LPC

Therapist | Addiction & Relationship Specialist | Former Naval Aviator


Scott brings a wealth of experience in the field of addiction treatment, having worked extensively with individuals navigating recovery and personal growth. He is currently completing his certification as a Gottman Method Couples Therapist and actively integrates Gottman-based techniques into his work with couples seeking to improve communication, connection, and conflict resolution.


Scott has worked with a broad range of clients, including men, women, couples, and adolescents, and is deeply committed to helping individuals achieve meaningful progress toward their personal and relational goals.

His therapeutic style is collaborative and client-centered, grounded in strength-based and cognitive-behavioral approaches. Scott fosters a supportive and empowering environment where clients are encouraged to explore challenges and build on their inherent strengths.


He holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University’s School of Psychology and is also a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. Prior to his clinical work, Scott served as a Naval Aviator in the United States Navy, bringing discipline, dedication, and a unique perspective to his practice.

Bradley Maxwell, Intern

Group Facilitator | U.S. Navy Veteran | Social Work Intern


Bradley Maxwell is a U.S. Navy veteran and a dedicated group facilitator based in West Palm Beach, Florida. Originally from Ohio, Bradley developed a strong appreciation for community, connection, and collaboration early in life—values that continue to guide his work today.

Currently pursuing his Masters in Social Work after completing his undergraduate degree in Human Services at Palm Beach State College, Bradley discovered a passion for understanding group behavior and interpersonal dynamics, which now shapes his approach as a facilitator.

Bradley is a firm believer in the power of open dialogue to create positive change and promote personal growth. Whether leading team-building workshops for corporate organizations or support groups for individuals navigating life transitions, his focus remains on empowering participants to communicate effectively, build trust, and find common ground.

He has completed internships with Vet Centers in the Palm Beach area, where he continues to develop his clinical and group facilitation skills while serving fellow veterans and community members.

Outside of his professional commitments, Bradley enjoys spending time outdoors and hiking—activities that support his own well-being and reflect his commitment to holistic wellness.

Bradley is passionate about fostering connection, inclusion, and mutual understanding in every group setting he leads.
